REPLACING HOMELESSNESS
WITH HOUSING

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide reentry level housing and support services with a human and social service emphasis, to ex-offenders, and other hard-to-place individuals. We focus on vulnerable and under-served populations which also include veterans, the homeless, and both males and females.

WHY IT MATTERS

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) reports that Oklahoma has an estimated 5,783 people experiencing homelessness on any given day as of January 2019. 652 of those households are families, 447 are veterans, 258 are young adults (ages 18-24) without accompanying adults and 881 are homeless individuals experiencing chronic homelessness.

Approximately 20,393 students in public schools were homeless during the 2017-2018 school year, according to data reported to the U.S. Department of Education. There were 217 unsheltered students, 1,863 in shelters, 2,955 students in hotels or motels, and 15,358 students who were doubled up.
